Erin Holsonback, ASLA, PLA
Erin’s career in landscape architecture developed as a convergence of many of her interests, including arts and crafts, organic gardening and food production, Earth science and social justice. She is the owner and Principal of Otten & Associates Landscape Architecture, a small firm in Portland where she was employed for twelve years prior to the retirement of the former owner in 2019. Four generations of the Otten family worked in the industry in the Pacific Northwest and Erin is honored to carry their legacy forward.
Erin has experience working on a wide range of projects, including single and multi-family housing, commercial developments, parks and schools. She enjoys collaborating as a team with clients, design consultants and planners to create functional and aesthetic landscapes. Her favorite projects are those that intentionally provide positive impacts for the client and larger community, and Erin seeks to further apply her professional efforts towards ecological preservation, social change, improved health and access to green space.
